The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Contractor Audit Executive Council (CAEC) group was established to foster relationships with our primary stakeholders and provide a forum for the contractor internal audit functions to share knowledge and training opportunities, leverage best practices, discuss internal audit trends and current or emerging risk issues, and conduct external quality assessment reviews to determine conformance with relevant professional standards. The CAEC is led by the Steering Committee, as outlined in our Charter.
